Elizabeth Betty M. Mullen, 79, of Cortland passed away at her home > surrounded by her loving family after an extended illness. She was > born November 13, 1929 in Syracuse to the late Edward and Mary Ellen > O Hara Morris. > > Mrs. Mullen grew up in Scott NY, and moved to Cortland with her > family during her high school years. Betty graduated from St. Marys > High School in 1948. After graduating she worked at Sears and Roebuck, > Marine Midland Bank and Niagara Mohawk before her children were born. > Mrs. Mullen was a communicant of St. Marys Church, a member of the > Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and a former member of the Legion of > Mary. Bettys deep devotion to faith made her a loving and caring > wife, mother, sister and friend and would extend a helping to any one > in need >> > She is survived by her husband of 56 years Francis Fritz Mullen , > her daughters; Nancy Mullen of Cortland, Diane (James) Brown of > Cortland, son James Mullen of Charlotte NC, grandchildren Ryan J. > Mullen and Lauryn M.
