Joanne, Mike and Tim and Mark Hi Penny we are very sorry to hear about your loss, our thoughts are with you. Bill and Laura Cole Penny, Tim, Kay and Martin, Gail and I are saddened to hear of the loss of your son/grandson Nick. You have watched and struggled with his illness for a long time. Now, he is free with no more pain and that has to be some small consolation. Even so, it is never easy to lose a child no matter how old he is. We sincerely hope you are able to have others around you to help in this time of grief. We all need others at one time or other. Best wishes, Stan and Gail Dear Penny and Tim, Martin and Kay, and the Vossler family, Yesterday I was sitting outside listening to the birds singing. It is sad to think of a young man, just starting his life, who won't hear that anymore. Don't know if Nicholas was interested in that type of thing, but we do extend our sympathy. We know you will miss him. Love, Susie (Vossler) and Mike I am so sorry for your loss. I was Nick's 3rd grade teacher and he was one of my favorite students ever. What I remember about him most was his tremendous sense of humor and mile-wide smile. Occasionally he would get frustrated with writing because he had difficulty with his handwriting, but he would always bounce back with a witty comment and that smile of his I have seen so often in my memories. Again, I am sorry at your loss. I often try to detect if some of these young adults are former students; they change so much in the 15+ years since I last remember them. I'm saddened that my memories no longer have the hope of seeing him again. Respectfully, Colleen Stevens Redenback
