Obituary of Randy K. Foster

Randy K. Foster age 64 of Cortland, NY passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023 unexpectedly at home. Randy was born August 10, 1959 to the late William Sr. "Bill" and Barbara Foster in Cortland, NY. Randy attended the Groton High. After high school Randy began working at various jobs. He enjoyed working on vehicles and drove taxi for several years. Randy also served as a volunteer fire fighter for the Groton and Cortlandville fire departments and enjoyed serving the community in this capacity. Randy enjoyed watching NASCAR, but most importantly he loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. His favorite role was being a father. Randy is survived by his companion Tina Personius and children Jason K. Foster (Amanda), Jessica J. Burnette (Joe), Joshua R. Foster Sr. (Christina), Landon Foster, Mckenna Foster. He is also survived by his grandchildren Ashley (Tyler), Dalton (Mackenzie), Katelyn (Brian), Cameron, Ethan, Nevaeh, Joshua Jr., Annejilee, and great granddaughter Delilah Grace and 8 brothers and sisters. Randy is predeceased by his daughter Jennilee Ann Foster. Services will be from 12 PM on Friday, September 29, 2023 at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland, NY 13045. Following the services a Celebration of Randy's Life will be held at the Dryden Baptist Church, 138 Virgil Rd. Dryden, NY 13053.
