Charles W. Sturmer 50 of Cortland passed away June 27, 2009 in Middleburg,Ohio. Charles was born March 13, 1959 in Farmington, New Mexico the son of Louis H. and Hope M Hudson Sturmer Jr. Charles served his country with the US Marines, enjoyed spending time with his family and gardening. He was a friend, loving, husband father, grandpa, son, and brother, Charles is survived by his wife of 27 years Tova Sturmer of Cortland His sons Kyle E. (Jamie) Sturmer of Brooktondale, Kevin A. Sturmer of Cortland His daughters Kelly A (Derek Ponton) Sturmer of South Myrtle Beach SC Karla ESturmer of Cortland His grandchildren Bryce Ponton, Noah Ponton, Ellyanna Sturmer and Westly Sturmer His brothers Louis H. (Priscilla) Sturmer III. of Salt Lake City Utah Greg (Brandy) Sturmer of Salt Lake City Utah Darrell Sturmer of Salt Lake City Utah His sisters Elaine (Dave) Pugmire and Linda (Mustapha) Azatto of Salt Lake City Utah His mother Hope (Kenneth) Strasburg. Of Salt Lake City Utah Charles was predeceased by his father Louis H. Sturmer Jr. and his beloved dog Zack Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm Friday at the Victory Christian Church on Douglas Road Cortland with Pastor Don Evans Officiating.
