Concetta Berger Fellows Ryan, 71, of Starr rd. Cortland passed away Monday July 27 at Cortland Regional Medical Center. She was born Sept. 24, 1937 in Upper Darby, PA, the daughter of the late Butler and Lucia Duluzio Berger. She has been a longtime resident of the Cortland area, where she graduated from Cortland High School in 1956. Concetta then graduated with high honors from TC3, with a degree in Health and Nutrition. She volunteered at St. Mary's and Randall Schools for many years. Concetta was also a board member on the original Cortland Community Action Program. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and a friend to all, and will be greatly missed. Concetta is survived by her son William D. Fellows Jr., daughters Cheryl (Thomas) Michales, Prudence (Peter) Marcey, Patricia (Donald) Romer, Jeanne (Thomas) Grant, all of Cortland, stepchildren Shelley Parr of Indiana, Scott Ryan of Fl., and Mitchell Ryan of Indiana, grandchildren Eric and Brenton Michales, Ryan Marcey, Samuel Grant, Dominick, Mackenzie and Jacob Fellows, step grandchild Jessica Franken, great grandchildren Zachary and Owen Michales. She was predeceased by her husbands Richard Ryan and William Fellows. At her request, there are no calling hours or funeral services. Thinking of you all during this difficult time and sending my condolences. Hold close all of those special memories. She will be with you always. Barbara Woods Walpole I was so sorry to read about Connie in last night's paper. She was a wonderful woman, as you all know. Some of the greatest "nearly pee myself" laughs I ever had were with her. Finding her teeth in the bushes after she whipped them out and threw them on Cowance comes to mind! I am very sorry that your family is having such a hard year as well.
