Obituary of Hubert C Merchant

Hubert C. Merchant Sr. 81 of McGraw passed away January 21, 2010 in Cortland Regional Medical Center. Hubert was born July 22, 1928 in Sheds the son of the late Sumner and Nora Beardsley Merchant He served his country with the US Army and had been a long time employee of OShea Tire. He was a Life Member of the McGraw Fire Department. Hubert is survived by his wife Marjorie Merchant of McGraw, sons Hubert (Alice) Merchant Jr. and Chauncey Merchant of McGraw, daughter Jorie (Dave Browngardt) Merchant of McGraw, Marjorie Starkey of Cortland, Beverly Merchant of McGraw and Amanda (John) Gaughan of Baldwinsville. 9 grandchild 2 great grandchildren Several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Monday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave spring interment will be held in West Homer Cemetery.
