Obituary of Walter W. Culver

Walter W. Culver passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on April 19, 2010. He was born on September 6, 1959. Walter (Wally) was a kind hearted man who is survived by his mother, Charlotte (John)Kinney; his children, Marissa L.M. Culver, Mitchell Culver, Heather (RJ) Stanley; his brothers, Ramos Culver II, David Culver, Ernest Culver; sister, Lorie Culver, his half-sister, Charlene Keiser; grandchildren, Tamesha, Kamele, Carmyn and Paloma and aunts and uncles. Wally was a hard-working man who always fought for what he wanted. He was skilled in carpentry, landscaping, poetry writing and drawing. He was predeceased by his father, Ramos Culver I. Calling hours will be at the Wright-Beard Funeral home, 9 Lincoln Ave. Cortland, On Friday, April 23 from 3:00-4:00 PM followed by a funeral service. A small reception will be held at the home of John and Christine Leyburn after the services. Donations can be sent to his daughter, Marissa, at 3599 Hoxie Gorge Road, Marathon, NY 13803. wally was truly a good man and hard worker. we shared many laughs when he worked for me for many years. you will be missed bro... rest in peace wally...greggDad, you were my best friend and im really going to miss you.
