Linda Marie Twomey Mann, 62, of Spring St., McGraw NY, went peacefully with the Angels August 2, 2010 at the Cortland Regional Medical Center. She was born August 21, 1947 in Sidney NY. Linda was an area resident most of her life. She was a home health aid and care giver throughout the Cortland area. She enjoyed being with her family and playing cards with them and her friends. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Carlene Marie Twomey of Cortland, sons Jeffrey John (Susan) Twomey of Jordan NY, Robert (Cindy) Temple of Skaneateles NY, brothers David Hodges of Cortland, Wesley (Priscilla) Cusson of Hornell NY, sisters Christine Hodges of McGraw, Charlene (Marty) Bushnell of Cortland, Darlene (Dick) Loop of Cortland, Ann (Richard) Carter of Waterloo NY, grandchildren Ashley, James, & Philicia, Jeff, Chris, Nick, & Mikayla, Erinn, Alexander, Robert II, & Kathrine, great grandchildren who knew her as GG Hayleigh Elizabeth and Sydney Lynn, several nieces and nephews. Linda was predeceased by her father Glen Hodges, mother Elizabeth Borst Cusson, step father joseph Cusson, brother James Hodges, and close friend Albert Sweeney. A calling hour will be held Friday August 6, 2010 1-2 pm with a funeral service to begin 2 pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland NY 13045. Burial will follow at the St. Marys Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of CNY, 1594 Elmwood Ave., Rochester NY 14620. I am sorry but I won't be able to attend funeral or calling hour. I work Friday and have appointments scheduled already. I also don't handle funerals very well.
