Obituary of Helen E Smith

Helen E. Smith 92 of Cortland passed away September 5, 2010 in Cortland Regional Medical Center. Helen was born October 7, 1917 in Enosburg, VT the daughter of the late Frederick H. and Lena May Davis Eldred. She had been employed as an educator and supervisor of student teachers at SUNY Cortland. Helen is survived by her son Bruce (Mary Walter) Smith of Cortland, and her step son David (Lorraine) Smith of Carmel, NY. In addition to her parents Helen was predeceased by her husband Merton C. Smith. Graveside services will be held in Enosburg, VT. Anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in Helens name is asked to consider the Helen S.
