Joan M. Peppin 54 of Cortland passed away suddenly on October 4, 2010Joan was born March 6, 1956 in Glen Burnie, Maryland, the daughter of Glen and Kathleen Burmeister.Joan had been employed as a LPN at Northwoods at Cortland, and had previously been employed at St. josephs Hospital in Tampa Florida.She enjoyed tending to her garden, collecting dolls , cat figurines, and crafting.Joan is survived by her husband Danny, son David both of Cortland, her father Glen Burmeister, brother Mark (Patty) Burmeister of Tampa Florida.She was predeceased by her mother Kathleen BurmeisterMemorial services will be held 12:00 Pm Monday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. Friends are invited to call from 11:00 €“ 11:45 am prior to the service.
