Audrey Boyden McCall 89, of Scott, passed away January 16, 2011 in Cortland Regional Medical Center. Audrey was born September 14, 1921 in Truxton, the daughter of the late Alfred and Eva Wimer O Donnell. Audrey graduated from Truxton Central School in 1937 and attended Cortland Normal School, she had been employed at Smith Corona retiring in 1983, she had previously been employed by JC Penney from 1947-1956, Audrey was a member of the Homer Ave. United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Woman. She and her late husband Frank Boyden organized a Cub Scout Troop in Scott in 1964, was a past Master, and past Jr. Grange Matron of the Homer Grange, 7thdegree member of the National Grange Audrey is survived by her family, sons Donnell Boyden of Scott, Daniel (Jacki) Boyden of Truxton, daughter Tamira (Phillip) Metzger of Norwich, step children Lawrence (Roseletta) McCall of Homer, Shirley (Robert) Howe of Florida, Cynthia Owens of Schenectady , sister Bonita (James) Barden of Cortland grandchildren Matthew and Alexander Metzger, Tricia Truehart, Cynthia Darling, Lyndsee Wescott, Timothy Smith Several step grandchildren, several step great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Audrey was predeceased by her 1st husband Frank Boyden 2nd husband Dana McCall, grandson Phillip Edward Metzger, sisters Lorene Ellsworth, Garnet Kleine and brother Clifford ODonnell Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. Cortland, spring interment will be held in Scott Union Cemetery Friends are invited to call Tuesday evening from 4-7 pm at the funeral home.
