Obituary of Teresa M Piedigrossi

Teresa M. Piedigrossi 95 of Cortland passed away peacefully to be with her beloved husband Angelo on1 February 7, 2011 in Cortland Regional Nursing Facility. Teresa was born July 3, 1915 in Dogliola, Italy, the daughter of the late Valentino and Filomena Pelliciotti Del Nero. Teresa was a communicant of St. Anthonys church and had been employed as a seamstress for the Cortland Corset Company. Teresa was happiest cooking Sunday dinner for her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her son Nick (Carol) Piedigrossi of Cortland, daughter Filomena (Dante) Fabrizo of Cortland 5 grandchildren 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Teresa was predeceased by her husband Angelo, daughter Mirella, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Calling hours will be held Thursday evening from 5-7 pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Friday in St. Anthonys Church 50 Pomeroy St. with Fr.Lukasz Kozlowski officiating.
