Obituary of Margaret F. Georgia

Margaret F. Georgia, 83, of Ithaca passed away May 30, 2018 at the Cortland Park and Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 4, 1934 in Elmira NY the daughter of the late Francis McCann and Ruth Whitting McCann. Margaret received her degree as a registered nurse with Crouse Irving Hospital in Syracuse. Over the years she worked at various hospitals. She served with Army Nursing Corp from 1960-1962. Her friends will remember her as a dedicated nurse and a serious animal advocate. She is survived by her nephews David and John Perry, her Bison Toby and many close friends including Janice Brown. At Margaret's request there are no services.
