Obituary of Beverly J. Cox

Beverly J. Cox, 80, passed away October 21, 2018 and is now with her Lord and Savior. She was born September 3, 1938 in Cortland the daughter of the late George and Louise Thompson Cox. Beverly was a lifelong resident of Cortland. She was employed with Montgomery Ward Dept. Store and the First National Bank of Cortland. Beverly was an avid baseball fan, loved the NY Mets and Gary Carter. She also enjoyed traveling and listening to Elvis Presley. She is survived by her pride and joy, her nephew Jeffrey (Dawn) Benjamin and their children David and Danielle, her sister Dorothy (Howard) Benjamin, her niece Denise Wavle and her family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Carol Ann Cox and Arthur Cox. A private graveside service will be held at the Forest Hill Cemetery, Blodgett Mills NY. The Wright-Beard Funeral Home is serving the family.
