Obituary of Robert C Smith Jr.

Robert C. ("Bob") Smith Jr. Robert C. Smith, Jr. of McGraw passed away Monday at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center. Bob was born in Syracuse and lived many years in McGraw. He was employed in the day program at the J.M. Murray Center in Cortland. Despite his many disabilities, Bob enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, (i.e. coffee, apple pie, cooking shows), and touched the hearts of all those he lived and interacted with. He was predeceased by his parents Robert C. Smith Sr. and Eleanor Smith, and his brother Gary Smith. Bob is survived by his remaining 4 brothers, Mike (Terri) of Pompey, William (Cyndee) of Fabius, Mark of Owego, and Jeffrey (Antoinette) of Syracuse along with several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the McGraw IRA staff for the exceptional care provided to Bob and the Cortland Development Services Office (DSO) for their professional/compassionate services. They always had Bob's back.
