Mary Ellen Goddard 79, a lifelong resident of Cortland passed away February 13, 2019. Mary Ellen is predeceased by her husband Donald E. Goddard, and her parents Thomas and Lucille A. Madden.
A Loving Mother and friend was a Homemaker for her children, worked at Crown Park, and Ames Linen. She enjoyed assisting at the Scott Public Library and loved the Fall Halloween party. She enjoyed swimming at the lake, photography, long drives with Dad and going to Church.
She is survived by her sister Judith A. Doll, her son's Donald T. Goddard, Martin (Margaret) Goddard, Andrew, her daughters Donna (Jerry) Schneeberger, Maureen (Jason) Jones, 9 Grandchildren and 4 Great grand children.
A calling hour will be held Saturday May 11, 2019 9AM-10AM with Mass at 10AM at St. Margaret's Church. Burial will take place at Atwater Cemetery.
