Brenda L. Thorington, 56, of Cortland gained her wings on November 17, 2019 at University Hosptial, Syracuse.
Brenda was born on October 4, 1963 in Cortland, N.Y. She was a lifelong resident of Cortland attending local schools. She had been employed at Marietta Corp. for several years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her longtime companion Elmer Cobb Sr., her children Shilah (Steve) Thorington, Elmer (Margerita) Cobb Jr., Esther Cobb, April (Wesley) Cobb, William (Natalie) Cobb, Brandi Ramirez, fifteen grandchildren, her siblings Penny (Speed) Cook, TC (Randy) Thorington, Andy Thorington, Larry (Liz) Thorington, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sons Jon Thorington and Ben Cobb in 2004.
