Obituary of Kenneth R. Alberts

Kenneth R. Alberts, 81 formerly of McGraw passed away March 12, 2020 at the Veterans Home in Oxford, NY. Kenneth was born August 9, 1938 in Binghamton the son of the late Paul and Beatrice Euson Alberts. Mr. Alberts had been a lifelong resident of the area, he had served in the US Army and retired from Buckbee-Mears Co. He is remembered by his family as a good man and a better father. Mr. Alberts is survived by his sons; David (Kathy) of Cortland, Kenneth (Sandy) of Pitcher, Robert of McGraw and Steven (Amy) of East Freetown. His brother Ralph and Sister Katherine Howard both in Florida. His grandchildren; Katherine, Anthony, Kimberly, Nicole and Kenneth and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Alberts was predeceased by his wife Patricia September 21, 2019 and his grandson Jonathon March 12, 2014. Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 10:00-12:00 at the Wright- Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland. Interment will take place in the McGraw Cemetery.
