Obituary of Earl A. Williams

Earl A. Williams, 89, of Cortland, passed away on May 3, 2020 at home. Earl was born on October 2, 1930 in Adams, NY. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp, serving in the Korean Conflict. Earl worked at Cortland Memorial Hospital until the time of his retirement in 1993. When not working at the Hospital, Earl enjoyed taking care of his home. He liked to take on home renovations and enjoyed tending to the landscaping outside. Earl was also an amateur auctioneer. He is survived by his sons, Paul Williams, John Williams, and Robert Williams (Roxanne); daughters, Jane Jenney (Mark), Mary Manning, Barbara Field (Ben), Carol Williams, and Anne Becker (Scott); twenty-one grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; sisters Beulah Barnes and Alice Fulkerson, and brother Clifford Williams Earl was preceded in death by his wife of sixty years, Dorothy. A private graveside service will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery at a time of the family's convenience.
