Dawn was one of the treasures of Marathon. As a 16 year old youth, she loaned me her car to take my driver's test!! Apparently she was a trusting soul, as well. She will be fondly remembered by many and sadly missed by all who knew her.

I am so very sorry to hear of Dawn’s passing. She was one of the nicest souls I ever met. I was blessed to have her as a mentor right out of high school at my first job, which was at the bank. From that time on we were friends and had wonderful conversations whenever we ran into each other, the last time just a few weeks ago where she, again, thanked me for convincing her to get Sweet Pea from my sisters litter of pups. She blessed me with many words of wisdom, my favorite being “no one has a perfect life, every one has their own story” Thank you for that Dawn I use that often and raised my kids to see how true that really is. I will treasure the doilies you crocheted for me, and I will cherish my memories of you. Prayers for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. May God Bless you and hold you in his loving light until you are reunited again.
