Obituary of Maria Arduini

Maria Arduini, 94, of Cortland, New York passed way on March 22, 2022. Maria was born August 1, 1927 in Ferentino, Italy to Giovani Battista Segneri and Cesarina (Pennachia) Segneri. Maria married Domenico Arduini on May 28, 1949. Maria, Domenico, and their two sons immigrated to Cortland in October 1955, where together they built their forever home. Maria worked at the Cortland Corset for 36 years. Maria's greatest joys were spending time with her family, her strong faith in the Lord, and her garden. Maria was predeceased by her husband Domenico in 2008, her brother Luigi Segneri in 2014, her sister Ana Cristini in 2021, and her brother Giuseppe Segneri in 2021. Maria is survived by her two sons Jerry (Barbara) Arduini of Ossining, NY, Luciano (Cindy) Arduini, of Syracuse, NY, her brother Cesare (Virginia) Segneri of Italy, Dora Moroncelli of Italy, and sister in law Giovanna Segneri of Augusta, GA, her grandchildren Brian (Mandy) Arduini, Jennifer Arduini, Matthew (Lisa) Arduini, Danielle Arduini (Jay Richmond), Daniel (Erin) DeBerjeois, her great grandchildren Adrianna Arduini, Adison Arduini, Alletta Arduini, Luciana Arduini, Gracie, Mason, Lyla, and Oliver DeBerjeois. Calling hours will be held at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday March 26, 2022 from 10 to 11:45am. Funeral Services will begin at 12pm at the funeral home.
