Obituary of Janice Kline

Janice Kline, 75, of Marathon, passed away on April 5, 2022 at the Cortland Regional Nursing Facility. She was born on September 3, 1946 to her parents, the late Kenneth Jones and Nellie Doty Jones. She married her husband Robert in 1970. They were married for 51 years. In the early years of their marriage, Janice was a farmer's wife and homemaker. She then went on to work at the DMV for 23 years. She loved watching her grandson Andrew play baseball and was an avid fan of Syracuse University Basketball. Janice also liked crocheting afghan blankets, reading and tending to her plants. Above all Janice will be remembered as a loving grandmother, wife, and mother. Janice is survived by her husband Robert Kline; her children Steven (Debbie) Kline, Kathy L. Kline; her brother James (Cookie) Jones; her sister Jacqueline (Wayne) Garelick; her grandson Andrew Kline; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Calling hours will be held at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc., on Friday April 8, 2022 from 10:30am to 12pm, with a funeral service beginning at 12pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place at the Willow Glen Cemetery, in Dryden, NY. The funeral can be live streamed at 12pm on Janice's obituary page on the Wright-Beard website.
