Obituary of Johnny J. Schrader

Johnny J. "Jack" Schrader, 91, of Cortland passed away May 21, 2022 at the Guthrie Cortland Regional Medical Center. He was born December 29, 1930 in Greece NY. Jack was a member of the Operating Engineers, Local 545, Syracuse NY, since 1957. He was employed with D.W. Winkleman in Syracuse and various contractors throughout his career. In his spare time he enjoyed home projects. He is survived by his son Johnny (Debra) Schrader Jr., his daughters Peggy (Paul) Dennis, Nancie Schrader, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great grandchild, his sister Dixie (Garey) Hartman, several nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his wife of 73 years Beatrice Schrader last month, his parents John and Margaret Schrader, his brother Roger Schrader. Services will be private. Entombment will be at the Cortland Rural Cemetery Mausoleum, Cortland NY. Jack's family would like to thank the staff at Walden Place, Misty Glen and Cedar Run for their care.
