Obituary of Patricia McNerney

On July 24th, 2022 Patricia McNerney died peacefully in her home. She was 58 years old. Patricia, known to her friends and loved ones as Trish or Trisha, was born on May 21st, 1964 in Quantico, Virginia. A short 23 years ago, she made a home for herself and her family in Cortland, NY. During her time with us she could be remembered for her empathy and compassion for those around her. She was always willing to share with others, even if that meant she would go without. Trish had a sense of humor that made everyone around her smile. She can also be remembered for her dedication and strong-willed spirit. She would go above and beyond to provide for the needs and desires of others, most importantly for her children. She is survived by her two sons and daughter; Don Jenney (Katherine), Kimberly Jenney, Easten Jenney, her grandchildren Sawyer and Brody Jenney, her brother William McNerney (Nancy, Tucson, AZ), her sister Ellen McNerney (Napa, ID), nephew Johnny McNerney (Napa, ID), her lifelong closest friend Donald Jenney, and significant other Glen Lolar. A private celebration of life will be held with her family and close friends to remember and honor Trish. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Hospice Foundation of America.
