Liz was the best childhood friend a young girl could ask for! Her true sincerity shone in all she did. Her smile always showed the love in her heart! I will miss her & always remember the best of times we shared together. I'd like to think that perhaps loved ones we have lost, have simply gone on ahead of us and are waiting for us when our time comes...I like to think of her waiting in a place where every moment is peaceful and happy...she is waiting to tell us all about this place, a story of sorts, with the happiest of endings...what seems to us now to be a very sad ending, may very well be only the beginning of a beautiful time in Heaven. My condolences to Chuck, Jessica, Claud, Joseph and all the extended Lavine Families: Lena & Ed, Bill & Lori, Susie & Jay, Darlene & Bobby, Polly & Doug, Johnnie & Autumn. A Special hug for Jessica...the beautiful photo & tribute you posted of holding her hand & all the loving thoughts you shared, brought gentle tears flowing...she will not be forgotten and will always be remembered with Love. Oh my gosh! I'm just seeing notice of Liz's passing today. I'm heartbroken for the whole Lavine Clan. Liz (or Betsy as we called her then) was one of my favorite sitters when I was a kid growing up in Berkshire. She was always so much fun when it was her turn to wrangle us. All my love to you Lena, Bill, Sue, Darlene, Polly and John at the loss of this beautiful and loving member of your family.

My hugs and prayers to all of her family. She visited me a couple times when our kids were babies with an out of the blue phone call. So glad for her wanting to keep in touch. Everything being said is so true of her heart and soul.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Wishing you loving memories to forever hold in your heart and comfort for the days ahead. I met Liz when I became best friends with her sister Sue in high school. She was never the annoying sister or one that always wanted to hang out with us. She was the sister who always greeted me with a kind smile and a warm hello. Always caring for the little kitties that came from the farm and always watching over her younger brothers and sisters to ensure their safety. Liz was a kind old sole who could never say no. She will be missed.

In the short time I knew Liz, I knew immediately the love and bond between her and her husband was one rarely seen and tenderly beautiful. The kind every young woman prays to have happen in life one day.
She immediately explained to our young sons why she was wearing a wig when they met her, and did so with a beautiful smile and ease.
When I'd come to church Liz would greet me with a hug and genuinely share of her Jesus, His comfort and , of the things on her mind from reading the Bible and praying with her husband.
Thank you for this Godly example Liz.
Safe in the arms of our Jesus now.
I will await another hug when I join you. Thank you for living for the Lord!

Sorry to hear about Liz passing. My earliest memory with her was in children's Church at Berean Bible Church. Good times learning about Jesus by her teachings. RIP Liz.
