So sad to hear of Don's passing. I worked with him at Cortland Savings bank and he always put a smile on your face. He was the only one who could have made the compliance trainings enjoyable and we so appreciated that. Pleasure working with him and thoughts and prayers for his family.

So sorry to hear of Don's passing. I met Don through my many years, as a Psychiatric Case Manager for Catholic Charities, while he was working at the Office of the Aging. He always knew his stuff, treated my clients with respect and usually got both the client and myself to laugh...sometimes no easy task!!! On calling, I always asked for him, and I was devastated when on calling one day, I learned that he had retired. At some point, I ran into him at the hospital, where he was volunteering. As we were both born in 1948, I gave the youngin' heck, for taking "early retirement"!!! "Who is going to help me with all my retirement questions, Mr. Hay?" It was a privilege to have gotten to know Don. He was a kind, knowledgeable Gentleman, who always put a smile on my face. Tony Raggi

Always the gentlemen! Without the wonderful Hays, we wouldn’t have had a wedding cake! The last time I saw you was at CRT for Mamma Mia. You spotted me and started waving. Immediately coming to give me a huge hug during intermission. I will always remember your infectious laugh. Rest In Peace Mr. Hay. You’ve left a beautiful legacy with your children and grandchildren. My love to Sue, Chris, Traci and all of the family.
