Jim was bigger than life in the eyes of so many people that knew him. He was a gentle man, yet a craftsman of concrete. He helped so many of us and taught the rest of us. I'm sure his name will live on, and our memories of Jim will last forever. Rest in Peace Jim

Uncle Jim always helped us when we needed him...he built an amazing fireplace in our terrace road house! I'll never forget that he let each of us put in a brick...he said" jesus christ Mary ya gotta get dirty to build anything...try that again..." then he laughed and shook his head at me. We had some fun camping at scroon lake and holidays. He built the cabin and the beds folded down from the walls. It was ingenious. He was quite a character! He will be missed!

To The Family of Jim, I knew your Dad as a young sister-in-law. He seemed bigger than life to me. When I babysat you guys, he would pick me up on his motorcycle and I thought it was the greatest thing going. To your Dad it was just picking me up so he and your Mom could go out and relax, but to me it was the coolest!! Sorry your Dad is gone but rest assured that he is at peace and that you will see him again.

Q: How did you meet James?
A: Your father Jim worked on my fathers farm, Clair Lanper. Your father and mother lived upstairs in our house. He always had a smile.
Then After Gary and I were married we built a house on the Baker School House Road. He put our cellar in for us.
My last memories were he always had a huge smile and big wave when he drove by in his red truck.
I will miss seeinghim drive by. You had a GREAT father Margaret Lanpher Wheelock
