Obituary of Thomas Granato III

Thomas A. "Tommy" Granato III, 64 of Homer, passed away on March 18, 2023 at his residence. He was born on April 13, 1958 in Cortland to Rosa Deligato and Thomas Granato II. Calling hours will be held March 31 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. Fr. Joseph Zareski from St. Anthony's Church is officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cortland. Thomas graduated from Cortland High School in 1977. He worked for Seven Valley Reality for about 19 years. His hobbies were gardening, fishing, hunting, and bowling. He also enjoyed banging on his drum set. He loved spending time with friends and family. Thomas is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Fred Shepard) Granato, his sisters Vickie (Ronald) Granato Riccardi, Renee Granato-Cranmer, grandson Michael. Several nieces and nephews. Also long time best friend Shelley Schreffler. Thomas is predeceased by his father, Thomas Granato II, mother Rosa Morehouse, step father Earl Morehouse, sister Michelle Morehouse.
