Anthony Ferrito, 95, of Cortland passed away on August 17, at the Cortland Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Anthony was born on June 13, 1928, in Syracuse to his parents the late Peter Ferrito and Mary Graziano Ferrito. A graduate of Onondaga Valley Academy, Anthony went on to serve in the United States Navy as a Pacific Medical Corpsman. On July 26, 1958, he married Judith Woodworth. After his discharge from the military, he worked for 20 years at the Fayetteville Post Office as a letter carrier. Anthony was an accomplished carpenter, building countless pieces of furniture for family members who appreciated his craftmanship.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Judith Ferrito; his children Patricia "TC" Ferrito (Thomas Franz), Anthony Ferrito (Susan), and Mark Ferrito (Amy Lalla). He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Burial in St. Mary's Dewitt Cemetery will be private.
