I just heard about Steve's passing I am sorry to hear the news. I knew Steve when his family lived on East Main St. It was mid to late 50s. I lived down the street. My younger brother and Tommy were friends. I haven't seen Steve in many years but I do have a memory of of when we decided to take the new baby carriage off the front porch and ride it down a small hill in a neighbors back yard. We were all take a turns. The problem was an old stagnet goldfish pool at the bottom of the hill. The plan was if it headed towards the pond the passenger/driver was to bail out. None of us wanted to be the pilot. I ended up with the 1st and only ride. Sure enough in the pool I went and the baby carriage filled up with stinky water. We pulled it out and returned it to the porch. As we were trying to get it up the stairs Mrs. Caughey came out the door. She was not happy nor was my mother after a phone conversation with Mrs. Caughey. We did not see Steve or Tommy for a while.
We got in trouble but we had fun. A story I will never forget with an old friend.

Alice and family my prayers for you and your family. I remember growing up and hanging out with Steve and all the siblings at the Caughey house. Always smiling and always the jokester! So much fun and many good times never to be forgotten. The Lord’s Angels have now taken him high. Peace be with you all.

Alice, family, children, grandkids,
We our family knew Alice most from K to 6 at Randall ES on our Cedar st, a great Cole and Tutino growing up environment. Knowing Ateve came after 70 71,Chs 71. Those tans, outdoors, fishing, marrying. I guess I eould say w Dexters,Warners,Kiernan, staples of our St. I sold moms 2014, Alice and Steve still there. To know our memories is 53 to now,a true lifetime. Must say, your Mom and dad in law were tops! Your Mom too..rip in eternal peace, no.pain..fly high dear guy. So sad, Alice.
