Obituary of Lucinda I Cordary

Lucinda I. Cordary., 64, of Groton, passed away on July 18, 2024 at the Guthrie Cortland Medical Center. She was born on October 16, 1959 in Cortland, to her parents the late Paul S. Grenell and Isabel A. Hicks. Lucinda made her career caring for others, as a CNA at Highgate Manor. She also worked at the Cortland Standard and the Terrace Restaurant. In her time of leisure, she enjoyed crocheting and loved to color. She had a love for dolphins but above all loved her family. She enjoyed keeping busy and was always on the go. Lucinda is survived by her children Roger (Tabitha) Cordary, Deatra Church and Richard Hamilton; grandchildren Julie (Jacob Wood) Church, Lisa Church and Justin Church; great-grandchildren Lisaann Dowing, Korbynn Wood, Katelyn Wood, Jacob Cordary and Sylvia Church; her sister Roxane (Chad) Horrocks; her niece Ashley Inman; great nieces Hailey Berry, Kaitelyn Berry and Emma Berry. She is preceded in death by her siblings Mark Grenell and Marilyn Rice as well as a nephew Shaun Berry.
