So very sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. Doug and Shirley were friends of my parents for a good many years I was so blessed to get to know them and live in the same building. Shirley loved my son and was always bringing him her homemade goodies especially her potato chip cookies. She was truly a wonderful and caring lady. Rest in peace Shirley†Tim, Cherri and Timmy Fellows also my mother Sandy Carter

Q: How did you meet Shirley?
A: I met Shirley in the mid 70s when she & Terry lived in the Haines Development in Scott. Terry & I were friends, and Shirley drove us in her 1970 Dodge Coronet Sedan to the McGraw Fireman Carnival. Terry & I rode on the Tilt-A-Whirl and ended up getting nauseous. She & Terry left the Homer school district in the Summer of '76, but I reconnected with them in 2000. I would learn that Shirley & I had the same gift when it came to the power of psychic empathy. Shirley was a caring person who gave her heart to everyone. I express my deepest condolences to her family.
