Obituary of Charles C. LeRoy

Charles C. LeRoy, 85, formerly of Cortland, passed away January 13, 2024 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He was born September 17, 1938 in Cortland the son of the late Brayton and Mildred LeRoy. Charles graduated from Cortland High School and from the State University of New York at Canton. He was employed at Brockway Motors for many years and then worked for Mack Trucks in Allentown PA as a Pricing Analyst. Charles was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where he was a Deacon and church treasurer. His family will cherish his memory as a devoted husband, father and grandfather whom he dearly loved. He is survived by his wife Rowena LeRoy, his son Timothy (Roxanne) LeRoy and daughter Amy (Mark) Kennedy, his grandchildren Chelsea Newcomb, Katelyn Dray, Collin Riegel, and Corey Riegel, great grandchildren Zoey, Aubrey and Jake Charlie, along with nieces, nephews and cousins. Charles was predeceased by his parents and siblings, Martha Shattuck and Carol LeRoy. Graveside services will be Saturday May 18, 10 am at the Virgil Cemetery.
